Connie Primiano has filed her candidacy for the position of school commissioner for the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) in Ward 2, which includes Montreal West and NDG from Connaught St. to the border of Westmount. Primiano worked 35 years in education as a teacher, vice-principal, principal and board administrator. She has also been a parent and assistant director of human resources with the EMSB. “I bring a wealth of experience to the table and, above all, enthusiasm. My goal is education that is tailored to our children’s needs in order to best prepare them for the future,” said Primiano. School board elections will be held on Nov. 2.
